Autumn Drinks At Starbucks-Reviews|| Autumn 2018

Starbucks is one of my favourite places to get warm drinks when out and about in town. I hadn't been in ages, so it was my first chance today to try the autumn drinks. The autumn drinks end on the 31st October, I believe, so I had to hurry to get my chance to have any this year.

After my morning of work, I decided to go to Starbucks. They, of course, had their pumpkin spice latte out, and they also had two other drinks; Maple Latte & the Vampire Frappuccino, which is a Halloween themed drink.

I decided to get the pumpkin spice latte as I usually have at least three a year and I had to grab one before they end.

I love this drink, as you probably can tell, and I find it sad how it’s not out for longer than it is.
I have actually made my own at home before which I might do again but I wanted to find pumpkin purée instead of cutting a pumpkin but haven’t found any.

Anyway, the PSL is a sweet warm drink, that smells and tastes like spices. It contains pumpkin flavouring, and spices; cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. And its topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of spices.

I love the spices and the warm drink is perfect when walking town on a cold day.
Walking around town on a chilly afternoon, like it was when I got this autumn favourite drink, while holding onto the warm Starbucks cup. It’s the best feeling.

I rate this Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte a 8.5  out of 10.
I love the drink but I always get the smallest size, because it gets too much if its any bigger.

I walked around town, drinking my warm drink,
and went to one of my favourite spots-the book shop!

After spending some time in the book shop, and walking around town for a while, I was heading for the bus stop to catch the bus home when I bumped into my dad who happened to also be waiting for the bus.

My dad suggested going to Starbucks, so I ended up going again.
This time I got the Vampire Frappe and a piece of Pumpkin and Maple Cake. My dad got a Mocha, I believe, and a piece of raspberry cheesecake.

This has got to be the first time ever I've been to Starbucks twice in one day!!

The Vampire Frappe and the pumpkin and maple slice of cake.

This drink was a chocolate cream Frappuccino blended with strawberry sauce and topped with whipped cream and strawberry and chocolate sauce. I think the barista really liked me because she put a lot of chocolate and strawberry sauce on top.

Again, I got the smallest size of this drink, and it was a good thing I did because this drink was really sweet even though it was really delicious too. I couldn't finish it.
(I ended up bringing about half of it home, I let my brother try it but surprisingly he didn't like it much-even though he loves chocolate!!)

This drink, as I said, was really sweet, but I still really liked it.
I think it would have made more sense if the drink was vanilla instead of chocolate, because it being vampire themed....

I rate this Vampire Frappe a 6/10.
I am not sure if I would get it again.
Maybe it's a one time thing.

Now, the cake. The cake was really nice and wasn't extremely sweet. I liked the sweetness of the maple and it worked really well with the pumpkin. And there wasn't too much frosting, which was a great plus.
I'd rate the cake a 9/10.
I'd get it again, if I ever have the chance.

My Question For You:
Have you tried any of the two drinks that I wrote about here, and what would you rate them?
