Berry Hot Chocolate- Limited Edition- Starbucks

The Valentine's Berry Hot Chocolate is out at Starbucks and it looks amazing. I was walking through town yesterday, after work, and saw the poster of this limited edition drink outside of Starbucks and I decided I would give it a try. I very rarely get Hot Chocolate from Starbucks, or when out in cafes or coffee shops  altogether, but I didn't think trying this one would hurt. 

It was a normal Starbucks Hot Chocolate with a frothy creamy pink berry whip at the top, which was then covered in pink sprinkles. It looked really pretty. But I was not really a big fan of the actual drink, sadly. 

The berry whip didn’t really taste like anything, there was a slight little sweet berry-like taste but not very much, and the hot chocolate was slightly bitter, in my opinion-I feel their Hot Chocolate is always a little bitter. It wasn't really anything that special. 

Another disappointing thing about this drink was the berry whip was really thick and creamy which made the Hot Chocolate a lot colder than you'd want when ordering a hot drink. 

It was also rather hard to drink it through the little hole in the cup lids, and I ended up taking the lid off and drinking straight from the cup. 

I rate this Berry Hot Chocolate a 2.5/5.

But visually I rate it around a  4/5.
