I Let Starbucks Baristas Pick My Drinks...Again!!

I did this little challenge again, and honestly I think it's really fun. If you ever don't know what to get then I would suggest you give this a go. There are so many drinks on the Starbucks menu, and in some countries there are a number on the Secret Menu too, so there is always something you haven't tried before.

This time I didn't chicken out at all  like I did before, so here is my "Asking Starbucks Baristas To Pick My Drinks" for a week.

Day 1:

I must say the barista was very confused at the question. She ended up picking out an iced coffee for me. Annoyingly she didn't ask what size I wanted, and at the time I didn't think of saying anything because of her confusion at my random question...so I ended up with a Venti.

It was a  little bitter and I think it had way too much coffee in it, and I couldn't drink the whole thing. There was also a lot of ice in it, which really waters down the drink a lot which I find really annoying. It also was really sweet.
I rate this drink a 3/5.
I'd  get it again but in a much smaller size.

Day 2:

I went a slightly different approach, and instead of asking for them to choose my drink I asked what one of the most popular cold drinks they had and the barista said it was probably the Frozen Iced Strawberry and Lime Drink. So, obviously I went with that one...

I got the drink in a tall size. It was defiantly the type of drink I would choose myself, as I love iced and fruity drinks. It was very sweet but absolutely delicious. I believe they are new to the menu, here in Switzerland, and they come in other flavours too. I would really recommend it if you like strawberries and I'd get it again for sure. I give it a 5/5.

Day 3:

The Chai Tea Latte. This is actually one of my current favourite Starbucks drinks, and I get it almost every time I go to Starbucks. It was actually my sister that recommended this drink to me to try.

So, as it's my favourite drink I have to give it a 5/5..obviously.

I really recommend this drink too, I am sure you'll love it.

Day 4:

This day didn't really go very well because I was picked out a warm  Matcha drink, which apparently had vanilla in to, but honestly I couldn't taste any vanilla. I also don't like Matcha very much, so I didn't really like it at all, and even though I got the smallest size I couldn't drink it all, and debated with myself over trying to drink it or throwing it away.

I like matcha in some forms more than others, like I really liked a matcha chocolate bar I tried and matcha kitkats weren't bad, but with the drink it was nothing but matcha and in my opinion it just tastes a bit like grass or something.
I would have to rate this drink a 1/5,
which I think is the lowest I've ever rated a drink from Starbucks.

Day 5:

I can't remember the name of the drink, but it is just basically slightly sweetened iced coffee.

It’s a little bitter. I’m glad I got it in a size tall. I like it but definitely not my favourite. Might get it again but wouldn’t be my first choice. I rate it a 3/5.

Bonus:

A couple weeks ago I was ordering a Caramel Macchiato and the barista asked if I wanted regular milk or soy milk, and I usually always go for regular when I am asked this.  But I decided to try it with soy milk.

It had a slight difference in taste but no big change from having it with regular milk, and I kind of think I preferred it with soy milk and I would rate it a 5/5 too, but then again I love this drink a lot, and before I tried the Chai Tea Latte this was my regular order.

And there you have it, these are the drinks I was given this week at Starbucks. I must admit I do get a lot of confused looks and sometimes I have to give a little help but I love doing little random and fun things like this so if you would like me to try something like this again I would love to hear your ideas.

Also, I would love to know what your Starbucks order is or if you don't like Starbucks your favourite drink at your local coffee shop.
